Uniform Clarification and Thanks
Dear TVS Athletic Family
As an athletic department it has been our policy to try and replace uniforms on a five year rotation basis. Uniforms have been funded with athletic department money and with a great deal of help each year from our booster group the TVS Athletic Association. Due to our current financial status as a district and as an athletic department, the decision was made by administration to not use any athletic department money to purchase new uniforms for the 2013-14 school year.
However, I am pleased to announce that we are on pace to being able to keep all of our athletic teams whose turn it was in the rotation to receive new uniforms for 2013-14 outfitted in new uniforms. Many thank yous are definitely in order.
First to Mike Randolph and Tina Wagers and the TVS Football Boosters organization who through fund raisers and a slew of donations from private individuals and local business and industry have managed to raise the $5000+ necessary to purchase completely new home uniforms for our varsity football team. Thanks to the many people who worked hard on fund raisers and who unselfishly donated to this cause.
Secondly, the TVS girls' soccer team is in new uniforms this fall as well. The TVS Athletic Association (current officers: Amy Ehler, Derick Meyers, Teresa Wright and Austin Cole) donated a sizable amount towards the purchase and were helped out by camp funds from the TVS girls' soccer camp as well as a donation from the TVS SAY organization and various individuals.
The TVS boys' basketball team will also be in new uniforms this winter. Again a sizable donation from the TVS Athletic Association is responsible for much of the money and it was augmented by a large amount of money from the TVS HS Basketball Camp and Summer League.
All that is left for this year to complete our rotation will be girls' softball uniforms in the spring. Hopefully, through the TVS Athletic Association's tireless financial support and other outside generosity we can find the funds to freshen up their look as well.
Thanks again to all who have helped to fund these projects and a special thanks to all of the TVS Athletic Association members past and present who have donated so much time and energy into helping to clothe our athletes.

2013-14 Pay to Participate
There is a slight modification in Pay to Participate costs here @ Twin Valley South for the 2013-14 school year. It will now cost $100 per activity season to participate with an individual cap of $200 and a family cap of $300. As we have done in the past if a student is participating in two activities in an individual season, they will only need to pay once. For example a student playing volleyball and who is in the band will only need to pay $100 for all of her fall activities. If you have any questions, please email the athletic director firstname.lastname@example.org .
2013-14 Athletic Passes
We host approximately 80 home athletic events here at Twin Valley South. If you are a Panther fan or Panther family member, a 2013-14 athletic pass would be a good idea for you. A change at the Cross County Conference level means that every varsity event here at TVS now costs $6 for adults and full time students while middle school, freshman and jv only events cost $4. The TVS family pass is available to custodial parents and immediate minor children living in the same home up to graduation age. It is by far the lowest costing family athletic pass available in the surrounding area at a price of $195. Also available are individual passes with an adult price of $75 and a student price of $60. Athletic pass forms may be picked up and/or paid for in the high school/middle school office. We expect the passes themselves to be in the first full week of school. Passes work for all TVS home events except for the boys' basketball Tip Off Tournament and any CCC or OHSAA sponsored tournament or event. Please make checks payable to the Twin Valley South.

Athletic Game Schedules
We are entering the always busy fall athletic season. All fall and winter schedules are located here on the website (I'm still finalizing our spring contests). As you click on the main TVS website page there is a calendar setting in the top right corner. If you click on that you can pull down and see a specific "athletics" calendar. It lists all of the Twin Vally South athletic contests both junior high and high school.
Typically, this will show all of the months' games/contests, however, it is possible to narrow down to a specific team. For example click on "football" then "varsity" then "boys" and our varsity football schedule only will pop up for you.
Below we have a quick link which gives directions to all CCC schools. However, finding some of our non league venues can be challenging at times. If someone has a question, feel free to email me at email@example.com and I'll do what I can to help out.
